Staff and students at Oaklands Community College celebrated World Book day in the school by making the occasion with a fancy dress competition and hosting a “pop up” bookshop for the day.
Staff and students alike turned out in costume representing their favourite character from a book. Midland Books from Tullamore visited the school and hosted the “pop up” bookshop, accepting World Book Day tokens from students and the afternoon concluded with a “Drop Everything and Read.”
