Our core purpose is to support our students to become high achieving, well rounded individuals, fully prepared for life beyond school. To this end, we offer a complete education that caters for the different needs, abilities and talents of all our students. Oaklands Community College is a school where students are valued as individuals, where their strengths are identified at an early stage in order to ensure that each student reaches their potential, built on mutual respect where what is of benefit to the students always take priority.

Please feel free to navigate the virtual tour and video on our website to see the excellent facilities we have, a wide range of practical rooms, classrooms, sports areas and canteen facilities. We offer a wide ranging curriculum and pride ourselves on the support team build around our students. We appreciate that moving to secondary school is a big event and we put a huge emphasis into students having a smooth transition from Primary to Secondary education.

As a growing school, we’re very fortunate to have vibrant, energetic and professional staff and also to be at the design stage of a brand new building. This is a very exciting project on a new site in Edenderry with plans for this 1,000 pupil school being finalised over the coming months, this will be a state of the art facility which our incoming first years will get the benefit of.

I hope that this information gives an insight into the excellent all round education we offer and why choosing Oaklands Community College will be the best decision you will make.

I’m looking to meeting you all and if you have any questions or queries please don’t hesitate to contact the school. Queries regarding applications can be made to the main office on (046) – 9731573.  Many thanks and take care.
